Parents have a vital role to play, not only in their own child’s achievements, but also in the life of the school and the well being of its pupils. The Parent Council brings parents together and gives them a forum in which to share ideas and put forward suggestions to the Head teacher and the school’s Governing body on the future development of the school. It allows the school to develop a better understanding of the views and needs of the parents and ensures that we can see the perspectives and opinions of the whole school community. Parent Council meetings are held once every half term in the Key Stage Two library and it is hoped that there will be two representatives for each class within the school. Meetings are led by the Deputy Headteacher.
