Headteacher's Welcome
A very warm welcome to Oak Cottage Primary School
Oak Cottage is a school for children aged 3 to 11. There are approximately 240 children in our school, grouped in single age classes of 30. Since April 2025 we have been proud to be members of the Collaborative Education Trust.
The staff and I are very proud of our school and the wonderful learning opportunities and experiences we provide. We put the children at the heart of everything we do and develop their strengths and talents, both academically and socially. We provide a wrap-around provision called Oak Cottage Acorns, please see their page for further information.
Our last Ofsted report, carried out in January 2025 reflected many strengths in the school. Included in the report was the following: "Pupils love coming to Oak Cottage Primary School. There are strong relationships between adults and pupils. Pupils are very well cared for".
Mr R. Marshall

We are a busy and friendly school, with lots going on. This website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing up to date information for parents, pupils and the wider community.
