Crazy Coasts!
Crazy Coasts
Our coasts are fascinating places and give us a climpse of the ancient past. This half term we will explore the British coastline, learn about the geography and study the features of the Jurassic Coast. What will find? Will there be dinosaurs?
Marvellous Maths!
This half-term, the children will be completing work on 'position and direction' and 'time' before consolidating their maths knowledge learnt in Year 2. We will begin by describing movement through simple terms such as 'forwards and backwards' before moving onto clockwise and anticlockwise. Then, the class will focus on being able to tell the time to 5 minutes before applying it to finding the duration of events.
Exciting English!

Jigsaw - 'Changing Me'

In our ‘Changing Me’ topic, we will be looking at life-cycles in nature and how humans grow from young to old. We will also note the differences between the male and female body. There will also be a focus on independence and preparing for the transition into Key Stage 2.
