What is an explorer?
Explorers
This half term, we will become intrepid explorers walking and sailing the routes of some of the famous explorers like Christopher Columbus and Matthew Henson. We will learn all about them and their discoveries, including the difficulties they faced. Maybe one day, one of you will be an explorer!
Marvellous Maths!
This half-term, the children will be completing work on money. This will include selecting coins and notes to make different amounts, comparing amounts of money and giving change. They will also continue to develop calculation skills and build on their understanding of multiplication and division, using pictorial and mental methods.

Children will explore dreams and goals. They will choose a realistic goal and think about ways they can achieve it, exploring how to persevere when they find tasks difficult and how to share and celebrate their own successes.
